All of these artists have been out for similar periods of time. If you can compare the digital single sales of these artists that peaked in the late 2000s, then I can compare album sales from an artist that peaked in the early 2000s

I only compare IFPI numbers to other IFPI numbers.
And South Korea had FreeZone which was used to push Korean singles in their third weeks so artists could take "triple crowns" on local competition shows. Certain Sony artists took advantage of this and left their singles on there for months. Unfortunately, Gaon changed their rules counting Freezone and upped their single prices before Britney could take advantage of it
