Released her album with no prior announcement on a Friday, giving her 3 days of sales.

Sent Pretty Hurts only to urban radio.

Released only one worldwide single.

Sent Flawless remix to radio and made it purchasable 6 months later

Saw Haunted and Crazy In Love Remix being popular via 50 Shades Of Grey, made them album only iTunes tracks.

Released a video for 7/11 before the song existed thereby making sure the 30-40 million first week streams didn't count to the charts.

Trust me, a TIDAL release from her would not be devastating.
