but Superbitch.... although Bey was pushed as the lead in DC, she still didn't take kindly to it when people tried to talk down the other members. Yeah, they were hella messy in the beginning but once the rotten apples who weren't doing any work or trying to contribute yet alone have the talent to do so were removed, it's been smooth sailing ever since and everyone got equal parts on the albums.... their heads were IN IT and they weren't all trying to be solo artists. Hell, Bey was the last to put out a solo album.
PCD was hella messy so still not a good example. Melody would battle Nicole on stage in every performance trying to outsing her and outdance her
Girls Aloud are UK which proves the point. UK girl groups seem to be less ego-driven
And Cheryl did loved the spotlight but she has a genuine friendship with Nicola and Kimberly, she was very protective of both and that's why they worked well together. While Nadine wanted to be solo so bad, it backfired.

At least Nadine was smart enough to wait 4 albums before trying to get a solo deal. Camilla would be dumb to pull a Nicole and try to go solo after ONE album. However I doubt this is the case and the fans are reading too much into it
Little Mix actually works as a team. Each girl gets a part in every song, they sing harmonies, and improve together. Jade's dancing and Leigh-Ann's vocals are some examples kf things that have improved greatly over the last two years because the girls push eahc other. They want the [b]group[/group] to succeed, not themselves.
Like could you imagine being Lauren of Fifth Harmony and performing Worth It 75+ times live knowing you can sing and dance better than Camila while she gets the chorus and a verse and you get nothing. After a while I'd be salty as hell too tbh. And you can't say the fame isn't going to Camila's head given her recent behavior.
LM will sure have a long career. I can feel their strong connection
Meanwhile, as a 5H stan, I'm praying for the girls to release the next album without any member leaving the group The struggle is real

Camilla is too young to know how it works, she's definitely going solo on the 3rd album if not before, the tension is in all their interviews and it seems like everyone is tired of her. And y'all can't deny this, is everywhere
At the end of the day the day this is just one song I really doubt Camila is trying to go solo this fast when 5H still trying to be more successful. This was just one side project and the real problem here is the stans making a big deal out of it as if the group is ending already that creates more tension between the girls who obviously read tweets and stuff. Camila wasnt even my fave but I have seen the jealousy from the stanbase and even the girls since long time ago. Like BT said the fans are reading too much into it and making it worse for the other girls.

I can totally see Camila being the next Nicole actually
Sorry, but the age excuse is not valid. The reason is because Little Mix has been a group, not just girls put together, but a true, genuine group from the beginning. They've always shared the spotlight equally since the X-Factor, even when the judges tried to screw with them and have Perrie lead. 98% of their songs, the girls share equal time on the track. They could easily regulate Perrie as their lead with her dominant voice. They could easily just delegate Leigh-Anne to rapper of the group, or Jesy as the main dancer, but they don't. All the girls get to shine equally.
Tbh, I can't even think of another (quality) girl group that shared billing more equally than Little Mix do.
Fifth Harmony has been set up as competition since day one. Camila was pimped as the lead since her rendition during Judge's houses. The problem is that they (their team) gave into that. Camila was paraded around as the lead and that instantly created jealousy with the other girls. And it's only increased in time.
It also helps that all 4 girls are essential to the group. You can't take any single one of them out of the equation without losing the magic of Little Mix.
never forget Melody and Nicole were so close to punch each other on stage

no, age is a HUGE factor
agree with most of the rest tho
I'm not saying I disagree with the rest of your post, but don't act like putting 15 year olds together and putting 19 year olds together is the same thing. Of course it's a factor. It's not the ONLY factor, but it certainly contributed.

fff GA was messy but even tho they never liked Nadine(or since 2007) they worked together and out their differences aside not it got nasty after the break up when Nadine tried to be the nice one but she got exposed by the other girls since she was the one was really wanted to go solo not Cheryl(even tho Cheryl was the 1st one and the one who succeeded). 3 of them are BFF, no one liked Nadine(the voice, the lead) and Sarah is always known as "the other one"
Little Mix is more talented and they're actually friends. There's also a lot less individual stanning of the girls than there is in 5H (and 1D, actually). The only reason the Harry domination of 1D didn't cause a split sooner is because of the $$$ they started making. 5H just don't mesh well for some reason. Even from what I saw on the X-Factor, they can't actually harmonize. Every one of them is trying to be the lead. There's a reason Little Mix was the first group to ever win XF. They all contribute equally to their sound, which is rare for groups in general. Almost every other group I can think of had a lead singer. Fifth Harmony just never decided who theirs is, and now they have an awkward, public mess.
I know what you mean but Ally is never going to get the chance to shine, at least Nicole got to in the group. She will echo the careers of flop R&B girls who are still followed on this website I'm sure you'd know the ones
Little Mix feel organic, their relationship doesn't look forced and it's not surrounded by the constant drama.
their music is better, they're more diverse and actually work as a girl group, none of the girls gets the spotlight, they all share it, unlike Fifth Harmony.
