Idg people saying Teenage Dream because I felt like I spent a good portion of 2010 changing the station on her songs and changing the channel when I saw her face. KP was everywhere, sadly. I'd say any Taylor era before 1989, I didn't know any Taylor songs before Truble Trubel Trubel.
Kelly Clarkson's Breakaway. Hear me out. I was only like 11 when it came out, and remember hearing her songs on the radio all the time. But I didn't realize just how massive the album was until years later.
Born This Way. Only the lead single had any sort of impact or chance to be remembered. Maroon 5's V. 1989, but that's probably because Taylor's slayage is expected now.
RED. Despite the first single opening with huge numbers (and being her first Hot 100 #1), the third single being even bigger, and the album being commercially successful, the era pretty much felt dead the moment 2013 arrived; and it had just started in August 2012.
Not to mention the album sold like 6M+ copies
