Crank That wouldn't have been a hit had it been released this year... notice the "cheesy rap dance" era ended after that song had 7 (yes, 7) weeks at #1.
Macarena was also bad, and that had 14 weeks at #1

Agreed. The first time I heard it I though "... interesting". Then after the first play I HATED the song. And truly don't even thing the dance was even partly good.

Surprised to see RUDE BOY to be #1, it's not that great to be #1 >< Top 10 is enough
I prefer HARD to be #1 Billboard for several weeks & it should have dominated BB during the TIK TOK era; 4,5 weeks #1 for Ke$ha is enough =_+

Rude Boy is a great song but I honestly didn't expect it to hit #1. I guess the airplay and sales aligned perfectly. Congrats to RiRi, and I love her but it seemed like a forced #1. Only time will tell.
