Shakespear is not big in asia where i live. In fact he is not taught in schools! I discovered him in a flop movie trailer thats about it. Whereas I knew about mariah when i was still a small boy.
Poor shakespeareans cant deal with the fact that Mariah has more impact to TODAY'S generation than Shakespeare and her writing is better, more elaborate, is studied all over the world in Asia, Australia, South America, North America and Europe. Shakespeare is only studied in English speaking countries..
Shakespeare is considered the greatest writer in the history of the English language while Rolling Stone would have me believe that Mariah Carey isn't even one the top one hundred best songwriters of all time. Tough call.
and i connect with her lyrics better thus she is the better writer.
