Just look at Heart Attack. Massive first week (frontloaded only) but since then has had no cultural impact. i even forgot about it.. Selena's song is fresh new different but the gp may just want to eat up the generic Max Martin stuff theyve been so accustomed to

The song started decreasing on iTunes the very hour the MV got released
Pretty sure it helped stabilize the song but it DIDNT help the song's first week sales AT ALL

More promotion? Nope. Just a music video released like 4 days later that actually made the song fall to #2 on iTunes.

Anyways what's your excuse for the 2nd week? Why is Selena predicted to sell more than Demi's first? Demi is still promoting the song, didn't she perform for like 2-3(?) radio stations? Hmm..
