Lol I'm not dragging or calling anybody ugly. But I've been in the gay world for 6 years now. I've experimented with every clique and club you can think of. I know how gay men are, for the most part. And with the hundreds of guys I've met up with either from school, Grindr, bars, stores or whatever, I can honestly and genuinely say that gay men will go there on the first date/meet up.
I can list only a few gays that I've ever met that don't hook up and won't get with somebody right away, no matter how attracted to the person they may be.
But the hook up thing also extends to straight people. It's the culture we live in right now. I can ask a man to do some weird sexual stuff and he'll say yes. I ask the same guy out to dinner and I'll get "yeah sure that sounds fun. I'll let you know if and when I'm free. I'm very busy with stuff" like he wasn't planning on eating dinner ever again in his life.
So while it seems close minded to stereotype people, you do find that groups of people have common traits about them. That's how stereotypes start in the first place. People pick up on things that members of a group do that are unique to them. Not saying that I abide by them. Quite the contrary. I always make sure I go at people with an open mind and learn about them for who they are and what they have to offer.
