Coeur de pirate was very big during her debut era, she had two top five singles in her France and won 3 Victoires de la musique Awards which are the French equivalent of the Grammys. Her second era did well too, she even toured the US they were small venues but she sings in French what French artist does that?
Has Marina had a top ten single in any major music market? Certainly not in her own the UK
I love her but for an English-speaking pop singer Marina is a big flop. Coeur de pirate is one of the biggest French-speaking girls.....
