Yes, Rihanna has outsold Britney since her debut because Britney's career is older, but Britney had accomplished MUCH more in the time Rihanna has.

Britney winning the lifetime achievement in her previous era? Britney winning best North American act in 2011? All the other awards she won during the Femme Fatale era and even more during the Circus era?
If she didn't win much during Britney Jean it was because the album was mostly promotion for her Vegas residency...
Either way it doesn't matter, most ATRL users agree that Britney is the princess of pop so that's enough for me
the fact that Rih was able to garner more nominations in a shorter career span says enough. Not to mention Rihanna has already won more Grammys, Billboard, AMAs.
