OVERVIEW
Telephone falls a devastating 14 positions in this week's chart, while Lily Allen gains 11 positions with Who'd Have Known but doesn't quite make the top 5, beaten to it by The Saturday's second single from Wordshaker - Ego. Ego debuts six positions higher than lead single Forever Is Over did, which had a miserable chart performance and fell off the chart after spending one week at number ten. Telephone, which is set to fall off on next week's chart, will likely reenter sometime in the future after its official release. However, Bad Romance is also set drop off next week, but will certainly not reenter. Bad Romance has had a pretty mediocre chart run. Despite racking up a decent value of £116, it has only spent three weeks in the chart. Hopefully it can salvage a fourth week in the chart. Meanwhile, Leona Lewis's Happy finds a new peak at number five, and Sugababes's Get Sexy spends a third non consecutive week on top.
Of course, Cascada gets an honourable mention for her top ten debut.
FLASHBACK #1
Take That's new single next year will most likely get a rare #1 debut on the countdown.
