I'm sorry, but Katy has only a handful of decent performances vocally, and you suddenly think because it's the Superbowl she magically became the best vocalist

If that was the case, why doesn't she sing this good all the time? She had an amazing show and broke the record, lets not try and ruin that by trying to make it more than it is.

I don't see why lovers are impressed or non lovers are pressed about any of this. The singing was not awful but it wasn't even in the neighborhood of great. I'd put Beyoncé at a 9, Madonna at a 7, Katy at a 4 no matter what the situation.

I think at this point we know SUPERBOWL performers use a loud LIVE backing track due to the magnitude. I thought Katy's voice sounded less polished and clear than Madonna and Beyoncé so I wouldn't be shocked if it was a low backing track and more live singing than her predecessors.

Even Ariana would struggle singing a string of hits like that with a bit of choreo like what Katy did with her Halftime show, why would u expect Katy to do it? Katy is not better than Ariana. It does not make sense that she SANG LIVE. The vocals thruout the show was from decent to good, which is just UNBELIEVABLE for Katy's standards.
