maybe this album just isnt my style...i enjoyed the first 5 or 6 tracks and then everything started to sound the same ive never been a big Tyga fan anyway but i expected a bit more from this since chris's solo albums are usually pretty diverse in sounds

This is true and it is ****ing terrible. Half the songs in Hip-Hop sound similar to or are blatant rip offs of Loyal. I can't even deal anymore. I need for them to start using other producers with a fresh sound.
First of all, this album doesn't have one sound. At times it's R&B and other times it's straight Hip-Hop and sometimes it's in between.
Secondly, this album is just for the current sound in hip-hop right now. It's what's hot. And like it or no, this sound has made Hip-Hop chart way higher on the Hot 100 and it's not going anywhere for a long time.
