I'm not from the UK, can someone explain to me how BBC Radio 1 playlists work? What differentiates A List from B List from C List as well as the new music section at the bottom? Like Calvin Harris is under C List and David Guetta is under B List even though they've been around longer and are more known than A Listers Charli XCX and Echosmith. Will being on the C List hurt the chances of King being a hit?
I'm pretty sure it just means what songs are more popular and getting more spins, as in A list being the most played songs, B list a little less played/popular and then a little less plays/popularity on the C list. I'm not 100% sure but I would guess it's something like that
1 Years & Years - King 1.0000 1.0000
2 Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do (From "Fifty Shade... 0.8685 0.8984
31 Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do (From The "Fifty S... 0.1670 0.1724
Almost #1 LMLYD had its time, now it's time to this beautiful song to smash hard It deserves to be as big as Rather Be tbh!
The lead that it has right now promises an astonishing place on the charts. Can't wait for next Sunday to find out where this spectacular pop masterpiece lands on Official Charts. I am pretty sure that this song is going to dethrone Love Me Like You Do.
