Everyone seems to be counting Kesha off too soon People seem to forget every single her voice touches turns into platinum. She's had 5 years in this business and already got four #1 hits, I don't know how many top #10's and EVERY single she has release peaked, at least, inside the top #40.
People think she can't get a #1 hit and have been saying this since Warrior bombed but thing is, she already proved you wrong this year with Timber. The song was everywhere ,at least in my country, and that's saying a lot since nobody knew Kesha here. And don't tell me it was "Pitbull, his power", everyone who talked with me about the song thought it was a song BY KESHA featuring Pitbull.
So I think Kesha can still have a #1 hit after all the trouble she's going through. And I think Beyoncé won't, simply because she doesn't need to. And that's not a bad thing.

It doesn't matter, still recent. Applause was still a hit and the fact that you fail to see it is just proving your bias against Gaga, but you will always have that username so let us not forget

Yes, because Tony has been spawning huge hits.

No, but like Xtina, Gaga had to hop on someone else because the money wasn't coming in through her own efforts.

And probably Legend X and Gaga.

I don't see where you're getting your standards from for "big hits" because the way your fave's latest singles are set up...

This album was planned even before ARTPOP was released, when Gaga was smashing. I thought you knew this since you're one of her biggest stans

? You thought wrong, I've been done with her since 2011 when the GP started ditching. Anyway, she still won't have another #1.

Funny, because you registered in 2011. Keep stanning for success, though. Lol.

LOL People are always so eager to write off Xtina.
Yet her last solo single ' Just a fool' sold 746,000 copies with pretty much zero radio airplay and no music video, only with two public performances under its belt.
Britney's latest single (Perfume) sold 275,000 copies.
Beyonce's latest single (Flawless) sold 396,934 copies
Kesha's latest single (Crazy Kids) sold 623,000 copies
So let's just be level headed before we write her off.

Sorry, but Applause didn't go #1 anywhere in the world that matters and it only sold 4M WW. It never even went 3x Platinum in sales anywhere.
That's a lead single, it wasn't a "big hit" by any stretch.
My faves latest single(s) has nothing to do with what we are discussing. I don't play that game.

"Just a Fool" featured Blake.
"Crazy Kids" featured will.i.am.
"Flawless" featured Nicki Minaj.
The only solo single mentioned was "Perfume," which also got 0 promo.
I also don't think we're limiting it to solo singles. If any artist is credited on a #1 hit then they get another #1 hit. You can count "Say Something" as Christina's last single.

I only mentioned Just a Fool because people are so easily bothered when people bring up Christina's collaboration number ones and laugh them off as her being incapable of achieving success with her own material, no, she's very much capable of success and can very much achieve bigger things if things are done properly and the elements fall into place, because her innate talent is there and it's what keeps her brand as big as ever, in spite of what her haters and naysayers might say.

But the ones least likely are probably Ke$ha just because of what's happening with her career at the moment and maybe Beyonce just because I can't see her going back to the pop fluff she used to create (like 'Single Ladies').
Are Bey fans still using this?
Beyonce: *buys up every banner on iTunes, aka the world's biggest music store*
Fans: NO PROMO SLAY!
Beyonce: *tours*
Fans: NO PROMO SLAY!
Beyonce: *uploads videos to YouTube*
Fans: NO PROMO SLAY!
Beyonce: *performs at the VMAs*
Fans: NO PROMO SLAY!

Buying up every iTunes banner is not PROMOTION! Considering there are people who still dont use ITUNES! and for the record iTunes paid for that since they are the ones who GOT THE EXCLUSIVE!
Tourin before a album is not promo since she didnt perform any new songs from the album on her tour! I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY YALL DONT GET THIS!
Performing at the vmas, grammys, Britt, was the only PROMOTION that she did for her album! She didn't do any interviews, no today show, and the list goes on and on. Those 3 things are the only **** she did to promote the singles and album! And compared to other female artists thats something they would do in 1 week when thats all she did in 1 YEAR!
SO BYE!

Kesha has potential with her next LEAD single or as a feature again.. other than that the girl is doomed, and its so sad.
Lady Gaga will never go #1 again.
Xtina might go #1 again...I have a feeling, but its also very unlikely.
The rest I'm certain will go #1 again. If Bey does a traditional LEAD single release ever again then she can land herself a #1.
