I'm sure the relationship that Irreplaceable by Beyonce was inspired by wasn't the realest thing, but it doesn't mean the feelings of betrayal and self worth that come from it aren't worth writing about.
The point is; short flings can get you thinking and feeling things that are worth exploring. It's not petty.
3. The idea that Taylor frequently 'blasts' her exes or is bitter is completely false. She has maybe 5 or 6 songs like that in her entire discography.
The majority of Red (even a bonus track) is about one guy (Jake Gyllenhaal)
Like, PLEASE check your facts before discussing **** you don't know about. It's so embarrassing.

lol, what facts do I need to check? I was talking broadly and if I remember correctly, wasn't mentioning facts. Let me reply to your points though:
1. I'm not sure what relevance this has since you are quoting me saying that talking about Marques as a way to say that Beyoncé does what Taylor does is dumb since she never released any song about him in the first place. When Beyoncé has a breakup song it is 100% anonymous, which is why she doesn't get flack for it.
2. Simply put, if your relationship isn't serious, then you shouldn't logically let it get you down. It may inspire you but then is it really that important to allude to who you're singing about? THAT is the petty part.
And Irreplaceable isn't written by Beyoncé, as far as the concept of the song goes and if it was, I don't think that song is about someone Beyoncé would have dated only a handful of times… unless you think she moved in with the man, bought him a car and all that after a few dates.
3. I never once said she "frequently 'blasts' her exes" I said that she has, and that is something you agree with as you say she has 5 or 6 times.
Lastly, a majority of an album being about one person is not the same as the full album being about one person, so don't act like I got my facts mixed.
