I Got U my favorite so far! That song is incredible, but sadly it's too amazing that it won't be a hit in the US
I Don't **** With You is my current jam! I don't really like country music but "Bartender" isn't bad!
Agree with you about "Outside", that song is generic but at the same time a grower... still is one of my least favorite singles from Harris Chandelier is just amazing! My 2nd favorite from this set

Top 100 Songs of 2014
100-91
90-81
80-71
70-61:
70 Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What It Wants
To say that this type of song coming from Selena shocked me is an understatement. I totally wasn't expecting her to go in an R&B/pop direction... and what an awesome surprise the results were! I think this minimalist style actually compliments her voice more than big pop beats do. While many of her pop songs were overly formulaic to the point of being too faceless to be good, The Heart Wants What It Wants is full of life and unique. I would say it sounds like what would happen f Lorde's music went through a pop manufacturer, and then through talented R&B songwriters as well, all too create a song that covers a lot of genres in one.
69 T.I. - New National Anthem (featuring Skylar Grey)
T.I. always delivers when he collaborates with pop girls, from Live Your Life (Rihanna) to Castle Walls (Legend X) to Guns & Roses (P!nk) and now New National Anthem (Skylar). Skylar Grey certainly delivers a powerful and memorable chorus. Her part adds a lot to the song. However, T.I. carries an equal weight of contribution, as his lyricism is honest and eye-opening. Interestingly enough, Gaga was at one point rumored to sing the chorus to this song. However, it didn't happen, and I'm glad it didn't. She wouldn't have fit.
68 Danity Kane - Tell Me
DK had a lot of behind-the-scenes issues in the making of DK3, but you would never be able to tell with the quality of some of the new tracks. Tell Me is one of 3 of my favorite tracks from the album (Bye Baby being a 4th, but not making the Top 100). It's sexy and ultra modern-sounding, putting DK into a perfect position in the 2010s. Why this wasn't pushed to urban/rhythmic radio more is beyond me. In fact, they were ROBBED of multiple smashes this era.
67 Nicki Minaj - Trini Dem Girls (featuring Lunchmoney Lewis)
A song equally as dirty as Anaconda, but twice as well done. While Nicki's verses on Anaconda are far from her abilities, Trini is better at showing off her great flow and punchline ability. Even better, her vocals are on fire in the pre-chorus. The beat is insane (thanks to Dr Luke - this beat sounds different than his other beats and I like that a lot). I appreciate how fun the song is, and it's nice to see Nicki do a song that caters to her Trini roots. Love her accent!
66 Jhené Aiko - The Pressure
I believe this song was a single from Souled Out, but honestly, I'm not totally sure on the situation. Nonetheless, this is one of my absolute favorites. If you listen to it with context to the rest of the album, you'd realize the song serves a nice, uptempo change of pace in-between Wading & Brave. Jhené's vocals here remind me of Aaliyah, especially near the end when the production shifts to become a early-mid 00s type of beat (I'm thinking production similarities to Keyshia Cole's Shoulda Let U Go at that specific part). Something about the vibe this song gives off me just instantly makes me think of Aaliyah & Timbo.
65 Tinashé - All Hands On Deck
Speaking of current R&B princesses, Tinashé is next! While I really do like Aquarius, they aren't that many uptempo tracks on her album. There's basically this, and 2 On. All Hands On Deck, like 2 On, is one of the catchiest R&B/Pop offerings of the year. The verses are ultra cool and sleek, leading up to a declarative chorus that will absolutely blow up on radio within the next 6 months. The coolest touch, though, has to be the random flute that plays in the later part of the chorus and the bridge. Somehow, it actually works and makes the song that much cooler.
64 Ariana Grande - One Last Time
Another (should be) future hit from Ariana... One Last Time is one of the finest offerings from My Everything. It's not a song that knocks you out on first listen, but it certainly does after a couple. In terms of its placement on the tracklist, it fits perfectly as a direct to Problem. I hope this is chosen as a single instead of Why Try, a rather generic Ryan Tedder produced song. It's more exciting, less contrived sounding, and more unique to Ariana. I think this song captures more of who Ariana is than the dancepop song that was a hit off of the album, Break Free. Unlike BF, OLT actually shows what she's made of.
63 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong
One of most overplayed songs of the year, for sure. But that didn't ruin the song one bit for me, as it's truly a stellar song. It's uplifting, easy on the ears, and sounds excellent in the car! I actually first learned about this song through ATRL, funnily enough. A member (CaptainMusic) posted this in the iTunes thread, proclaiming that it would be a hit in the upcoming months (this was back in March). Funny to know he was absolutely right! The first time I heard it, I knew it sounded like a hit immediately as well. It just as that it factor that a pop hit needs.
62 Grimes - Go (featuring Blood Diamonds)
AMAZING. My one problem with this one isn't really a problem, but honestly... it's too short for its own good! I wish there was a little more to it, like another verse or bridge or something. However, what we do have is a uniquely dark and aggressive pop track, initially written with Rihanna's R8 in mind. However, Grimes vocals perfectly fit the dreamy vibe that the beat creates, so I'm glad that she kept it for herself. Someday, I would love to hear how Rihanna's voice would've translated onto a demo of this.
61 Iggy Azalea - IGGY SZN
MAJOR GUILTY PLEASURE ALERT! I have really mixed feelings on Iggy in general, but I can't deny the various jams she released throughout the year... this one, and 3 others. You probably can already guess them. This song is unapologetic and cocky, with Iggy celebrating her success of the past year. The highlights, for me, are the ultra-quotable chorus and all of the verses, so basically the whole thing. This song might be the flow I've ever heard from Iggy to date. Anyway, turn it on and turn it up, regardless of the preconceptions you may have of her. Get into the szn!

My countdown seems way more female-centric than male. The girls really slayed it this year.

Some songs I seriously thought about putting in the Top 100 but decided not to:
Anaconda
Buy a Heart - literally cut this one 5/10 mins ago lol.
Bye Baby
All About That Bass
Dear Future Husband
Loyal
Don't Be Gone Too Long
Bailando
Break Free
Real Love - simply because I haven't had enough time to let this one sink in.
Boom Clap
Hey Mama
Thirsty
Froot
Far Side of the Moon
Bated Breath
Kiss & Not Tell
For anyone wondering, Rather Be didn't make it because the video was released in 2013.

Well, it's not like I didn't see me being out of the loop coming, of course, but geez. I mean, I'm barely familiar with a Calvin and Ellie track! You might as well just hit me with a stamp of disapproval.
