I see what you're saying but I don't think it's fair to criticise the people that do care.
I mean, you said yourself moments ago that at her peak her image (etc) was dictated to her.
That's not how she tells the story though retro. According to her it's all the haus under her direction. So, I don't really think it's fair to criticise others for holding her to what she herself says, a lot of people are not like yourself. If she says she's the creative force - they take it on face value.
I mean, to me, this interview is no big deal. That's why I said I was more touched by that girls tony story. The interview questions were probably given her weeks in advance, her team probably came up with the answers that she rehearsed. As you said pop is cold and calculative. The interviews honestly not that big a deal.
