The fact that he dropped Gaga says just about all that's needed to be said about his ear for talent and his capacity as a label executive. But it's too early in the morning to get worked up over him and Avril. Let me just wish Cher the best and get my coins ready for her next album.
And just because an artist is talented doesn't mean they're going to be successful in the industry. Major labels don't care about talent, they care about commercial viability.

I kinda wish is not Interscope, they have been slacking lately and only focus in some artists while lesser known ones are treated kinda ******. No label is really great nowadays but Republic is on fire lately, they've done a great job with Ariana, Nicki and Jessie J lately. I'm kinda hoping is Republic.
