How exactly will she have become a legend? I don't deny that she is a good actress, but she has not created career defining roles for herself. And basically listing her movies that had box office success =/= iconic actress.
I think if anything,
Changeling was iconic for her as an actress.
Maleficent was a massive marketing undertaking, but she didn't get the massive acclaim for the role to merit it being a role that will be remembered for decades to come.
In any case, I think she will find great success as a director (possibly like Ben Affleck has) and activist, which seems to be where he passion lies anyhow.
I still need ha to do another action movie ala Tomb Raider/Salt/Mr & Mrs Smith before she taps out
