The song sounds like a Lacuna Coil track (Shallow Life era). Even Carly sounds a bit like Cristina S. during the verses, although I prefer Cristina S. The track is catchy but nothing special. It would fit Fallen, that's for sure, but won't really stand out. It would just be one of the good filler tracks. You can also hear the formula, a typical Ben style (which is present throughout his solo album as well.) I expected much more for their first single, especially for a track that quite links with Bring Me to Life (title wise). The song lacks atmosphere and the emotion is not quite delivered really well in my opinion.
If this is what their album sounds like, there's no doubt that it's going to be just Fallen V.2 ( minus the atmosphere and emotions, unless they could actually execute those factors in the other songs). Formula for success, I guess.
DEATH. they are bringing the gothic sound i've missed since 2006\5.. it's really good and dark, i'm actually really excited, but too bad they're releasing in the summer.. - that's not really smart, i mean - in the winter this song might chart really good.. but right now i can't see it doing good ( it might debut nicely, and fall like ' New Divide' but i doubt it would happen'..)
I don't mind another band doin' stuff like Evanescence since I love that kind of music but they are not going to be as good as Evanescence, esp' after listening to the song which isn't bad but far from Evanescence's good stuff IMHO.
