You obviously didn't listen to the entire album then. Those songs were catchy pop novelties. They weren't meant to be lyrical masterpieces even though "Fergalicious" has amazing wit.

Back On Topic Anyone? I hope Rihanna puts more of her culture into her writing .. maybe make songs a la "Cruise Control". Show her heritage a bit more, I think it would be interesting and with the right producers it could come out beautifully!
Definitely, they were fresh back then and what made her stand out soo much, she should just go back to the basics for this album. Make a fun record instead of club record you know?
I dont think she should go all the way like Pon De Replay lol but if even just more stuff like Live Your Life which kinda played up her accent but was still kinda urban pop ish would be good.

no the singles didnt make me want to listen to the album they were horrible. I didnt even like the song John Legend wrote for her. i dont like her solo. Bep >>>>>>>>>fergie
