To be fair, DWUW was performed everywhere, she collaborated with Xtina and it had the video controversy hype. Not a fair comparison.

G.U.Y. only had one day of streaming, sales and airplay and still peaked at #76 which is higher than most pop girls debut for singles post album on the chart. And one late night performance that promoted the artRAVE more than the single. What are you saying?

DWUW was platinum before she collaborated with Xtina and before the leak

and while we're on the subject
Now, I know most of you here on ATRL probably have no idea who these girls are (because it's not like they're iconic or anything). They're called the Spice Girls! A forgotten musical relic from ages past. For about 3 years they were probably the most famous pop act on the planet and had 2 hugely successful albums. Unfortunately for them, they ended up breaking up after their 3rd album. It sucks because I just know if they had stayed together for another 6 years, they would've ended up being iconic. But unfortunately they're just irrelevant flops who no one remembers.

Lady Gaga started flopping five years into her career, and right now the GP doesnt care for ha or use ha anymore. Shes done. She basically our generations Cindy Lauper, two successful albums, then complete flop afterwards, struggling to stay relevant.

Who need long career if in the end you will not gonna be used? This statement was proven by the one who's in your avi.

And yes Gaga is.

It was performed at SNL and the American Music Awards. Not "everywhere". More than a fair comparison. And was platinum before the video hype and before Xtina was on it.

Don't forget the fact that she performed Dope before G.U.Y. and she was talking about Roseland and never talked about her having a single

She aint no icon yet. She needs to smash with two more albums and impact the G.P greatly to cement herself, currently she's irritating, too basic, cringe-worthy,boring to the G.P and media.Which in turn has affected her album sales, singles and sooner or later if the next album flops her tour numbers will follow the same fate.

This just isn't true. Gaga trends on WW Twitter weekly and has larger media coverage than most of the other pop girls. And, basic is just like...not true. Even critics disagree.

How dare you to say she's CURRENTLY irritating, boring to the GP/Media? She's not even releasing anything in the past 5 months...
And call her basic? Oh God, then what do you call something like Ariana Grande(no shade, I love her) who's getting and running the charts right now?

Who voted yes!!
Her career went downhill when she released Born this Way and it's gone even more down hill with Artpop. She was massive for two years but she ruined it by making weird music!

You don't need many albums to be certified an icon, neither do you need to be the most relevant at all times to be deemed one. Lauryn Hill cemented her iconic status with one album and Gaga already has with the TF/TFM.
She has influenced the music and fashion industry and all her achievements shouldn't be ignored just because she underperformed with one era.
