Born This Way was rock-inspired. I think she's just telling everyone what to expect from her next album.

There is such a thing as pop-rock. Rihanna went urban, yet still released pop-influenced singles. I don't think she's totally going to abandon pop music, and I don't really take her word to mean anything anymore. We'll cross this bridge when we get to it.

Why would she change to rock music if she's afraid of flopping? If she was afraid, she'd run to the same five people every other popstar runs to when they're afraid of flopping.

How old are some of you? Cyndi is an Emmy, Tony, and Grammy Award-winning pop icon who has had a successful career for the past thirty years. She is respected in the industry and has complete and total creative freedom. Any popstar would die to have a career like hers.
