Facebook likes and twitter followers mean nothing. Bieber flopped big time and he has alot of that.
Taylor's album releases are also big events in the music industry, it pretty much brings back those sales from the early 2000's.

No way they are releasing their albums in the same week.
Plus, Emeli's first era was HUGE, but UK is usual get tired of artists after huge eras, see Leona, Jessie J etc. so she could not even be a threat.
