It was "just" a promo single.
The only good thing is that if that's the promo single, I bet the album is hot! Not to talk about the first single!

Music Trauma Magazine reported Thursday October 16th that KIIS FM will air Lindsay Lohan’s ‘Playground’ single on October 25, 2008, followed by a release on iTunes on Tuesday, October 28, followed by the album, ‘Spirit In The Dark’ hitting shelves the following Tuesday.

i hope this time it's really true. but the album being released just ONE WEEK after the single release? something's not right

well her PR are probably orgasming because now with the promo and ad's for the new album they can put "this album includes the #1 HIT Single BOSSY" haaha. im sure that will be scratching many peoples heads lol.


but i am upset. is this album EVER going to be leaked and if its true her single is coming out the 25th and the album the 28th, then its DESTINED for doom. She needs to promote the hell out of this album. go LILO!

It could actually be great.
A month before the album the single gets released on radio.
Than some where in the middle comes the video and a week before iTunes relase.
If the single won't impact iTunes that well the next week album release + [hopefully] some promotion will make it go higer.
It could be a nice game plan.

I think it is saying that the song premieres on Saturday October 25th, then the show is going to be available on iTunes Tuesday October 28th, and the album out November 4th.

Why is everything so smushed together? Can you sell albums with the lead single being released one week before the album?
