It's a cute song, I don't see the hate. It's not going to ruin her image at all, it's a throwaway pop song and if it becomes a hit, great, more sales. If not then fair enough, no harm done. I'm just happy they're still trying with this era, rather than giving up.
This is honestly one of my least favorite tracks on the album, but it was a great single choice nonetheless. I really hope that this helps to pick things up for Kylie.
I'm with you. It's the most generic song on the album. The friggin' name itself is generic. Whether it will be successful is not something I care about. I care more about the reflection the song has on Kylie's artistry, and it makes her sound like a nobody singing a song that any other pop artist would've done and shoved off as a B-side. There's not a single thing Kylie about it.
There's a reason Popjustice rated it as the worst song on the album: "It’s: one of those Kylie songs that with the very best will in the world will never represent anything more than the missed opportunity for something better to be on the album. A waste of space, if you will; not a bad song per se, just a filler." (http://www.popjustice.com/briefing/k...review/124444/)

"The finest is “Sexy Love,” an irresistible disco-soul number with onamatopoeiac slap bass"
I was just trying to quote a source that put my feelings into words better than I could. I wasn't claiming it was the end-all-be-all review to trump all other reviews.
Delusional... Sexy Love is PURE kylie.. it's her shtick.. like seriously, even if someone else could sing this song, it would be a lesser version that would probably fall flat.. Kylie is what makes the song, and only her can pull off such a disco sexy vibe that no other pop star I know can!
^ Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) and Flower both performed worse than IWGC (#93 and #96 respectively). Don't know why they aren't on that list though, maybe it's just for top 75 songs?

So glad this is her next single! Easily the best song on the album, and I can really picture this being played during the summer time! I know I will be playing this at those late summer night parties!
