I was having a hard time listing all of them so I'll just mention all of Britney's albums, JoJo's sophomore and some of Kelly Clarkson's work (before she sucked aka before My December; more specifically the Breakaway era).
1 avril lavigne under muy skin (the best )
2 avril lavigne let go
3 avril lavigne the best damn things
4shakira donde estan los ladrones
5 colplay vida la vida
why is coldplay, eminem, evanescence Destiny's child, t.a.t.u & the corrs in some lists?
Anyway it's impossible to make a top 5 of female albums with so many great female artists.
BUT i see that Breakaway, Jagged Little Pill & Let Go are the most cited ones
Wow, It's difficult to me... I have a lot of female albums but here's some that worth to mention it
1.- Nelly Furtado - Folklore (After all a predictible, but I have to say this album is truly amazing & such underrated)
2.- Madonna - Ray Of Light (I have to say that is her best of I've heard)
3.- Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill/Flavors Of Entanglement (I cant really decide, this are my favorites of her, so it's going packed)
4.- Britney Spears - In The Zone ( Incredible, I have to say her best really)
5.- Dido - Life For Rent (Yes, I wouldn't let this out of the list, I love it so much)
Some others:
Kelly Clarkson - My December
Nelly Furtado - Whoa! Nelly
Kylie Minogue - Fever
