100. Traffic Island - Day Without Air (#8) (62,430) (MWC:#111, IDRL:#100, AIRPLAY:#96)
The boys from Finland remained revved up for 36 shows and peaked at #8 during the summertime. Unfortunately, they haven't come close to this success since. Hit as high as #16 on my daily airplay chart.
99. Ashley Tisdale - Not Like That <live> (#18) (64,300) (MWC:#121, IDRL:#99, AIRPLAY:#97)
Ashley makes the first of 5+ appearances in the top 100 with Not Like That. This just hit the top 20 after about 35 shows on. Ashley got to #10 on the daily airplay chart a few weeks ago. This is clearly not the last of her.
98. Celine Dion - Taking Chances (#15) (66,033) (MWC:#59, IDRL:#97, AIRPLAY:#100)
Celine crept into the top 20 a few weeks ago and hit #15 in the fall. While it didn't have the biggest airplay impact, she attempted to come back strong and so far it's sub-par at best. Has yet to crack my daily airplay top 50 chart.
97. Lifehouse - First Time (#19) (67,355) (MWC:#123, IDRL:#98, AIRPLAY:#99)
You may have heard this song in those car commercials. They managed to crack the top 20 but nothing more. Got as high as #24 on the daily airplay chart.
96. Adrina Thorpe - Midnight (#2) (68,355) (MWC:#65, IDRL:#96, AIRPLAY:#98)
A young independent singer with something relating to time. Got to #1 on my daily airplay chart. This got to #2 a short while ago but is currently holding strong in the top 100.
95. Linkin Park - Bleed It Out (#6) (69,111) (MWC:#104, IDRL:#95, AIRPLAY:#95)
Linkin Park had a rough stretch in 2007 never getting higher than #6 with Bleed It Out, their only top 100 appearance. This went #10 on the daily airplay chart. Chester and the boys will be back strong in 2008, don't worry.
94. Serj Tankian - Empty Walls (#8) (69,385) (MWC:#71, IDRL:#94, AIRPLAY:#94)
Serj scores his first ever top 100 finish as a soloist with Empty Walls. In the fall he hit #5 on the daily airplay chart, had a lot of fan support at #43 and got to #8 just a few weeks ago. 2008 could be Serj's breakout year.
93. Sick Puppies - All The Same (#6) (70,011) (MWC:#102, IDRL:#93, AIRPLAY:#93)
They just missed the top 100 on the MWC but had a strong enough airplay level to make this list. The trio from Australia got to #6 on the countdown, #9 on the airplay chart and picked up a lot of their power in the summer.
92. Stephanie McIntosh - You Should Have Lied <live> (#10) (70,224) (MWC:#75, IDRL:#91, AIRPLAY:#92)
This is the 1st of 6 Stephanie McIntosh songs on the year end countdown and 8 in the top 200. You Should Have Lied was her lowest top 100 song on here. This got to #10 on the countdown, #1 on the airplay chart and got a lot of support on the chart. There's more to come from the Aussie.
91. Sara Bareilles - Love Song (#16) (70,476) (MWC:#96, IDRL:#92, AIRPLAY:#91)
27-year old California singer started off very slow but finally picked up steam as the video came out and it quickly shot to #1 on the airplay chart after originally not going top 20 there. She sits at #16 and will be very dangerous for the #1 spot on MWC in 2008, if she still has any steam left.
Later, we got appearances from Kanye, Mandy and The Klaxons.
Linkin Park looked to be a contender but suddenly fizzled out in the summer. Not Like That is just a prelude of things to come from her. I will tell you it's a battle between Dolores, Stephanie and Ashley for the #1 song on the countdown.
As for Celine, she did well considering she never made my top 50 daily airplay chart and Sara Bareilles picked up a lot of ground thanks to the video. Lifehouse did OK on my chart when it's all said and done.

This set has performances from Christina Sturmer, Muse, Avril Lavigne, JessieLou and Timbaland. Guests include Kelly Clarkson, Jerry Yang, Pink and Rachel Lampa. Let's go.
90. Kanye West - Stronger (#5) (70,678) (MWC:#105, IDRL:#90, AIRPLAY:#90)
Kanye's only appearance leaves people wondering, 'Why #90?'. Well in an interview with him (yes, we had Daniele Donato conduct it), he said this.
---------------
Daniele:How does it feel like to be #90 on the year-end countdown?
Kanye:Honestly, I'm thrilled to be on this list considering how hard it is for a rap artist to make the chart.
Daniele:You certainly stand out among these heavy-hitters. Anyway, who do you got winning the #1 spot?
Kanye:Call me cheesy, but I am rooting for Rihanna with Umbrella. She deserves it.
Daniele:Very well, we'll see what happens.
---------------
Bear in mind, none of these singers know where they wound up or who will take the crown. Anyway, Kanye got to #5 on the chart and #15 on the airplay chart.
89. Alicia Marie - I Know (#10) (70,893) (MWC:#121, IDRL:#89, AIRPLAY:#89)
This rebel rocker took the crown on the airplay chart once in May, but that's about it. She got to #10 on the countdown. She is somewhat connected to fellow rockers Ronnie Borchert and Nicole Willard.
Now give it up for M4B recording artist Jessica L doing Apologize.
LIVE PERFORMANCE:JessieLou F/Timbaland - Apologize (OneRepublic cover)
I'm here now with Pink who is gonna talk about our next singer. So for the people out there watching, and a whopping 1,395,204 people watching this live....tell us about Clare.
Pink:Well, I've heard reports that this singer has always wanted to be on this chart. She told me she would be top 10 if she could, but I guess #88 is fine.
Well, then let's show her song.
88. Clare - Time Holds (#13) (71,799) (MWC:#124, IDRL:#87, AIRPLAY:#88)
Hit #2 on the airplay chart on several occasions, yet only got to #13 on the daily chart. Some way or another she did what she could do with Time Holds. Clare is ready for 2008 and is welcoming it with open arms.
87. Mandy Moore - Extraordinary (#5) (73,992) (MWC:#107, IDRL:#88, AIRPLAY:#87)
Like Clare, Mandy got to #2 on the airplay chart. Unlike Clare, she fell off early and appeared to fall flat. Then she picked up steam in the spring and rose as high as #5. Still, this isn't the last we see from Mandy in her career.
Now, give it up for recording artist Avril Lavigne performing her current hit Hot.
LIVE PERFORMANCE:Avril Lavigne "Hot"
Time to chat with Rachel Lampa about her 2007. Rachel, how you been?
Rachel:Not too great. Sort of disappointing if you ask me.
Well, you did have a magical 2006, but do you have any regrets?
Rachel:Um, not really. I didn't have anything to work with.
I see. Anyway, 2008 plans?
Rachel:Um, get back in contention.....
Lol. Anyway, tell us about Jami Ross.
Rachel:Who?
Lol, never mind. Here she is at #86.
86. Jami Ross - Confused (#9) (76,011) (MWC:#67, IDRL:#86, AIRPLAY:#86)
She is American obviously. This also got to #2 on the daily airplay list and hit #9 on the countdown, but then tumbled badly from 9-100 that next week. Still, she managed to regroup and finds herself in a decent spot with #67 in total MWC standings.
85. Everlife - Find Yourself In You (#10) (77,355) (MWC:#126, IDRL:#85, AIRPLAY:#85)
A last second boost in airplay propelled the trio to finish #85 on this list. They would only mass a showing of #12 on the daily airplay list, but they stayed very strong in fan support and are looking to turn 2008 into their personal playground.
Let's move along with our next track.
84. The Klaxons - Golden Skans (#4) (82,400) (MWC:#93, IDRL:#83, AIRPLAY:#84)
Whether it's futuristic video or the colors, don't be ashamed to like it. Hit #4 on both the airplay chart and the countdown in the same week. Unfortunately, they haven't made that airplay chart since August which could be severe in the long-haul.
Here's Kelly Clarkson introducing our next artist, performing #83.
Kelly:Well, here goes. Performing Starlight, it's Muse.
<audience>
83. Muse - Starlight <live> (1@1) (85,000) (MWC:#122, IDRL:#84, AIRPLAY:#83)
It's not like it was planned this way, the boat in this video was the setting. This hit #1 fairly early in 2007, but sort of fizzled and ran low on airplay fast, maxing at #17. But don't fret Muse-a-holics, there are still 2 more from them.
Jerry Yang will intro our next act, but he will be back later to chat.
Jerry:Um, #82 is um......Christina Sturmer.....
I guess he's nervous.
82. Christina Sturmer - Ohno Dich <live> (#32) (87,993) (MWC:#87, IDRL:#82, AIRPLAY:#82)
This is the first of her 3 appearances. Straight out of Austria, she wooed people across the land despite not making the daily airplay top 50. She only got to #32 on the chart but stayed on for 50+ shows. Not bad for a low peak.
81. My Chemical Romance - Famous Last Words (#2) (92,356) (MWC:#130, IDRL:#81, AIRPLAY:#81)
The punk band did all they could, but just not enough. #2 and #8 on the daily airplay list. Maybe next time boys.
We'll be back with Nikki Flores, Erin Myers, LaDainian Tomlinson and LeBron James, plus performances from Nicole Scherzinger, Paramore, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens.
I will post the top 20 videos of the year at certain points during this top 100. The next update will feature 20-16 of the music videos, and IMO 20-16 on the non-music videos of the year.
