It is what is taught in the schools over there so it's not anyone's fault but some of the changes are so redundant and unnecessary. I see someone there saying that all Websters American-English words are spelt exactly as they sound, explain gnome, knock, debut and aisle then. Argument irrelevant.

There's no need for you to be rude. Calm down a bit.
Regardless, that was his intent. Words like color, and center are spelled like they sound. I'm referring to words that have the -ou and -re.
And secondly, English isn't that great of a language. Its an ugly language that follows no logical sense. You're acting as if its some great language when its not.
