The production, (like most the songs on artpop) is cringeworthy and grating on the ears - it isn't a smooth listening experience. It's as if the elements in the instrumental are made to clash with each other resulting in it sounding unnecessarily noisy. The chorus is a HUGE let down contrasting with the pre-chorus and hook. It's just mediocre, and nothing special.
Its an awesome bop, but it's an album track. A song that's too cooky for people other than her fans. Still a great jam though. The chorus is spectacular and the whoop whoops in the second verse are so fun
I really wish I could get a version sans the bridge.
But other than that... Its a guilty pleasure. The "woop woop woop" sound on the 2nd verse makes me so happy.
