Shakira is such a strong name that it was a matter of time for her to use it as an album title. I'm here for her masterpiece. March 21st can't come fast enough!
I completely disagree. I kinda hate that, to be honest. First albums are never what an artist truly wants, they don't have that much freedom yet, so if you're calling your first album, your own name, it doesn't make much sense because it's not who you truly are.
Imagine if Britney Spears named "...Baby One More Time", "Britney Spears", LOL? "Britney" and then "In The Zone" were the two albums where she was being authentic, she had to grow up.
