Carried Away y Safe and Sound! Después de 2 videos musicales previos finalmente el tercer video musical fue épico y le hizo justicia a esa épica canción
#260 Flatline, Mutya Keisha Siobhan
#259 I Need your Love, Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding
#257 Two Black Cadillacs, Carrie Underwood
#256 Sacrilege, Yeah Yeah Yeahs
#254 You Make Me, Avicii/Salem Al Fakir
Set 1-Love don’t die is alright, Goodbye, Goodbye is a sweet song, White Walls is a jam, like the vocals and sound in Love Me Again. Like the Wild Cub song.
Set 2-Lke Back from the dead minus Big Sean, Crazy Kids, Loved Me Back to life, Temple, So Many Details, Our Song, and my fav of this set-LYTD.
Set 3- Okay due to Red’s and berberocka’s posts, I’m going back to the puns. Better Glow if I could see an Inhaler, who has a mind mischief. Never Never. What Now. That’s my life in the thrift shop.
Set 4-it’s the survival of the brave, I like losing myself to F**kin Problems. We gotta Burn like a Team.
Video set- Liked that you included both videos of Safe and Sound. Just like seeing the differences between the two. Like the Carried Away and High Hopes video.
Well, the Best Videos part ended in two days instead of three due to the first place, hah
BEST VIDEOS, #10 - #01
#10: King and Lionheart, Of Monsters and Men
Summary: Brother and sister are separated by a group of...I'm not sure! Future barbarians? They strive to reunite
Main reason to like this video: Plot/End Result
The mere concept of this video would be enough to make people admire it.
But really, check that. A quasi-distopian-futuristic-machinefilledyetinfusedwithfantasy video. Of Monsters and Men always had a mythological streak, and it does show in their videos. It did in Little Talks, and it did here. And the result is impressive! This is the kind of video one can watch and see a whole story, and even create one's own hypothesis about context. Why were they separated? What are those flashy light-animal things? Why are there suddenly rockets? It is fun to give one's own answers there.
#09: Kangaroo Court, Capital Cities
Summary: A zebra tries to enter an exclusive club. Court ensues when he gets caught.
Main reason to like this video: Plot
More Capital Cities, this time with Kangaroo Court.
The concept is once again cool, with the (possibly), fantasy racism and what not. I...actually don't have a lot of words to say about the video, as most can confirm that it indeed does have a plot and that it is worth watching.
#08: Cry like a Ghost, Passion Pit
Summary: A young woman in a forest has images of her past relationships
Main reason to like this video: End Result/Atmosphere
And yes, again Passion Pit.
I find curious how expressive every moment is. There is a tangible amount of emotion in the actress' work, and the video is pretty much done seamlessly. It is admirable. I have been wanting to see some sort of behind-the-scenes stuff to this. Maybe someday.
#07: Hollow, Alice in Chains
Summary: In space, a man residing inside a satellite suffers a strange growth on his neck.
Main reason to like this video: Plot
It is interesting to see the decay of this guy's mind until he completely breaks. The factors everywhere leading to the breaking down, and the pain one can see...
...it is wonderfully done.
#06-#01: My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark/The Phoenix/Young Volcanoes/Alone Together/The Big Fall/Just One Yesterday, Fall Out Boy
Yeah, six videos. And it isn't done yet.
The plot is complicated and confusing, since it is still unfinished. But what is so far is pretty well done, I think! I'm waiting anxiously for the rest.
Another video was released recently, but since I haven't watched it, it isn't included here.
