Yeah. It's strange because they sung the entire rest of the show live.

At lot people tend to do that with new songs that people haven't heard before. I think there was live vocals though too, they were just over a really loud backing track.

There are so many things I like about the song

-I love the electric guitar in the chorus>>>>>
-The hook >>>
-The pre-chorus>>>
-Dawn's cockiness in the song>>
-I heard Aundrea do her soulful head notes/belt near the end I thought Dawn was doing it until the belt, obviously done by Aundrea.

I can't see if radio would play it though. It's one of those songs that are better for performances, but don't have a place on one radio format. Bey had the same problem with "Run the World."

they weren't lipping!!! all the solos were live. Dawn's breakdown part wasn lipped and the chorus (although dawn and drea were adlibbing over it)

I really do not care that they were...but they were. They've done it before ala the 'Making the Band 4 tour' but their lipping the performance made the entire performance that much better. Plus I understand why -- the choreo. for AIADW seems strenuous.



EDIT: I'm meaning only for "All in a Day's Work" performance. The rest were done live.

I think what happens sometimes is the backtrack drowns them out when it comes out on video recordings too though. You could hear some parts live on AIADW though.

The bass was really heavy too [so that would drown out their voices as well] but I saw comments on Youtube saying they were lipping. But I really do not care. I just want the track.

I was talking with other DK fans on Twitter and someone said yesterday may have been a showcase.

Which makes sense from some of the things Aubrey said and also on her show Johnny set up that holiday radio concert as a showcase for some labels.
