Maybe not in the US, where it sold around 1.3 - 1.4M, but definitely WW where it barely passed 3M.
ARTPOP is already well over 1M worldwide and it won't need 4 years to top 3M.

And you should know there is a world outside the US so not everything limits itself to the US market...
Worldwide sales are way more important and are the ones that reflect the commercial appeal of an album and Animal was nothing more than a local mess.

He's bringing it upon himself though. I agree about some of the lashings he gives Gaga in SYG, he was right in many aspects about her before, but when she tries to act like Ke$ha is doing any better he will inevitably get clocked.
