Top 100 Songs (90-86)

"Dirty Paws"
Of Monsters And Men
My Head Is An Animal
" The bees had declared a war, the sky wasn't big enough for them all..."
Nominated for Album of the Year and Best New Artist in 2012, Of Monsters and Men is again this year in my year-end list. This is the first of two appearances by the group.
89.
"Crash My Party"
Luke Bryan
Crash My Party
" You can wake me up in the dead of the night, wreck my plans, baby that's all right..."
“Crash My Party” is just amazing. Powerful lyrics and a beautiful harmony with Luke’s vocals. I liked it when I listened to the song for the first time, which is rare with country male songs.
88.
"Trying To Be Cool"
Phoenix
Bankrupt!
" Open for business says it all, you can't go wrong. Compliments sound too cynical where you're from..."
I liked this song a lot when I listened to the album, but I got tired a little fast of the song because I overplayed it. But it’s still amazing, and deserves to appear here.
87.
"The Phoenix"
Fall Out Boy
Save Rock N Roll
” Hey young blood, doesn't it feel like our time is running out?..."
Fall Out Boy is a band that I used to love, but this love suddenly disappeared. But they’re back this year with many good songs, which makes me so happy. The Phoenix is not good as “Sugar, We’re Going Down”, which doesn’t mean it is not great.
86.
"Breezeblocks"
alt-J
An Awesome Wave
" Do you know where the wilds things go? They go along to take your honey ..."
One of the new artists that I sadly snubbed last year. And the only reason that they’re so low is because the song is from 2012.
