British band Lawson makes their first appearance on the list with their latest release, "Juliet". I'm really not much into pop rock but Lawson never fails to give me good bops. Expect more from Lawson in the coming updates.

Opposed to most of the people here (I expect), "Counting Stars" was a grower for me. Yeah, it wasn't bad but it took me so long to appreciate it. Thanks to a friend who played this while we were on a ride.

Jason Derulo had a great streak on my yearend lists for the past three years, but not this time. "The Other Side" was quite underwhelming compared to his previous efforts. Nevertheless, at least it managed to appear as wannabe.

Here comes another grower hit courtesy of British girl group Girls Aloud. The single is comparably weaker than "Something New" and made me only appreciate it when I heard the mashup with "Beneath Your Beautiful".

From back-to-back growers to a late bloomer. This Lana Del Rey hit first gained airplay a year ago with the original version. I was never pleased by that cause I find it weird. However, this cool remix courtesy of Cedric Gervais changed the game.
