Beyonce was smart to not go the dance/pop/EDM route, even if it meant sacrificing radio support at the time. No one respects a trend hopper. When that fad is over, and the backlash against all the artists who participated in it is on, she'll be unscathed.

Agree.
I just want new music. I hope she's successful only because I think she deserves to be. I think she will be. She's Beyoncé. But it's not the most important aspect. 4 is my second favorite era, flop or not, the music was great, the visuals were great, the vocals, the dancing, the performances, etc. I loved it.
