MITUSA was discounted to $0.69 when the performance happened.. of course it's going to sell. In fact, If Avril's HTNGU was able to shoot into the top 10 of iTunes (just a few weeks earlier) with a discount & NO performance, it's surprising that MITUSA wasn't able to do even better because she had the TCA exposure & came off of 2 decent sized hits.

I like Demi but it's delusional to try & say Demi's a better pop artist just because she has the vocals. Pop music is about the complete package and, unfortunately, Demi lacks in her stage presence. She's beautiful & can sing but if she wants to be on top, she's going to have to put more effort into her performances. I'm hoping she realizes this & that the Neon Lights Tour will offer more than her previous tours.

On topic, this is great news for Selena. Maybe years down the road she can do the halftime show too, her music is only getting better & this era has been her most successful yet.
She's a great performer & can do it all which is why this spot is good for her. She can dance & sing, and she has great stage presence. I'm really proud of how far she's come since "Falling Down".

ok before Selena had any dance numbers she was one of the most awkward performers in music history besides her poor vocal delivery!

Your point? The whole reason behind my post was saying that Selena is doing great with her performances CURRENTLY that she should be able to pull this off easily. I'm not talking about Demi or Selena's previous eras. I'm talking about the only thing that matters which is Right Now. Selena is a better entertainer than Demi (at the moment). She's improving as a performer while Demi seems to be regressing.

Even when Selena didn't have choreography on her last tour, she still had stage presence & props & dancers. Demi did too on her first leg of the "Special Night With Demi Lovato" tour but for whatever reason, she decided to cut back on anything entertaining after those 12 dates.

However, as I stated before, whatever they've done in the past doesn't matter. It's what they're doing now & Selena's doing it a bit better in a lot of different aspects.

Yes, Selena is slowly working her way up in her music career. I love this.
She has so much potential vocally (YES don't try to be shady, she has a great tone and nice range), performing (improving everyday) and her hits pretty much smash pop radio effortlessly. I'm here for her becoming a main pop girl in a few years.
