That's because RnB are not the IT genre anymore. This year it's making a comeback. If you go back to early 2000s when it was popular, you will find how much those black R&B acts dominated the airwaves. JT is mostly still pop, and Eminem is not supported by urban radio as much as you think.

And yet his first hit song was Heartbreak Hotel, which is not a country song at all. So are you claiming that if Elvis never took up with Rock and Roll that he'd still be the legend he is to this day? What of all those other (more) popular country acts of his time? They aren't as remembered as he is. The secret ingredient was rock and roll.

I wouldn't call Elvis an equivalent to James Brown considering James Brown was much more innovative than Elvis.

I know the difference and it could be taken that way due to the fact that this thread does have racial undertones. And how do YOU know she isn't taking her studio time seriously are you around her 24/7 i don't think so . Her dissing the producers she works with is an attitude problem also not an work ethic problem. Her attitude has nothing to do with her working hard. Learn the difference ...bringing up work ethic in a a thread related to race knowing that society perpetuates racism on the belief that black people lack the capacity to work hard was a bad decision
