What a mess. I've been waiting for this album for a while, but they do indeed have to get a next single out their. Acapella was vying to be a hit but Radio dropped it although it was lingering in the Top 40s without it. Try Me On sounds pretty good as a single
Acapella was doing pretty well on iTunes but it didn't get any radio support which is a shame because it's one of my top songs of the year. It's catchy yet so unique at the same time. And I fear if they try to release something more generic it will be shunned for being too generic. I just need this album.

Acapella wasn't the best choice for a first single but even when radio completely dropped it it was lingering in the Top 30 on iTunes for weeks. Obviously there is demand, and there is only so much they can do without promo.
EXACTLY! Not a big fan of Ciara's music, but I never hear her on the radio. I love Avril, but it looks like she's flopping too, as well as Karmin. Epic is just setting all their artists up for failure. Record labels need to stop trying to take control of the artists they represent. They need to let them just do their own thing and see how it works out. None of these idiots at the record labels make music as good as these artists do. This is bullsh*t. I want a new Karmin album now! Plus... A perfect example of how a record label can f**k up someone's career is Ke$ha and her label. They screwed her over because RCA prioritizes some of its other artists above her. Honestly, these artists need to have more artistic freedom and control over their music and their career.
What's ironic is LA said during the Epic Records relaunch that was his goal. He needs to realize constant pushbacks isn't letting the artist take creative control. It deinspires them.
