I wouldn't get my hopes for number 1 tbh. It's possible but I don't know why her stans want such a high debut anyways. If she does it to where the video premieres the same day as the song, they push it very hard on radio, and they promote it too much in it's first couple weeks, the song is going to peak very early and eventually fall off. And the album isn't out until 3 months later.

17 days so more than 2 weeks. Well she can't wait forever to release something she's been working on really hard because of Gaga.She has her thing going and Gaga has her and it was a coincide it happen at the same time.

And how on earth do you know this announcement was planned months ago? I've been following Katy since her OOTB days and I have never seen her hinting this announcement before Gaga announced her release dates. In FACT, Gaga has been hinting her release at least 1 month before announcing her release dates. Obviously Katy & her team were just waiting for Gaga's release dates so that they can somehow steal the thunder and pull the attention towards her. That last sentence is just...

Katy isn't debuting at #1 regardless if Robin was "strategically removed" If anything, he'll lose some steam on billboard and help her debut higher

Katy had done her work, they wanted to release it. As simple as that.

Not everything revolves around Gaga.
