She had it....and then lost with all this bitching about 'people copying me' and 'I'm urban pls look at me twerk when I dont even know how.' Either way I'm still here for the album
The problem here is people believe in everything they read!
When the album comes out and when you all listen to the deeper songs, you'll change your minds immediatly LOL
Yes. She does her own thing and it worked for her. Mad respect.

Then you really won't like the multiple cocaine references in WCS!
I don't understand why people go out of their way to make fun of people who don't like the idea of smoking weed. Some people just don't like smoking and don't need to do something they don't agree with to appear cool. Originality is king .
Yes, she could have gone the safe route after the huge backlash of Can't Be Tamed, but she decided to sexualize her image even more and do a 180 from electro/dance to a more urban inspired sound. So many pop artists wouldn't have the guts to do half the stuff she does. She knows every little thing she does shocks people and makes headlines so she uses it to her advantage. I could go on.

Listen Miley, you will no doubt be critized by some for your unabashed raciness in “We Can’t Stop.” Yes, you wear a series of ultra tight, body revealing outfits and a swimsuit, you grind suggestively on a bed and in a bathtub, you twerk, you rough house in a sensual way with a girlfriend, put your hand on another girlfriend’s breast and playfully kiss a Barbie doll.
But, I don’t see your provocative moves as merely a blatant grab to get attention, video views and make sales on iTunes.
No, it’s much much more than that. I see your message in “We Can’t Stop,” as a high spirited celebration of the freedom that young women are blessed with today to fully explore and celebrate their sexuality.
You are using the song to express your freedom to be in charge of your life as well as, the liberated vitality of other young women in your generation.
You are comfortable with your own sexuality, just like millions of other young women today, and that’s an inspirational statement.
How many generations of young women in history have been able to have the same sexual freedom that men have had — very, very few. Furthermore, women in most places on earth, still are punished for their sexuality or repressed so that they feel guilty and dirty just for having natural sexual feelings. And that is so wrong.
I think it’s great that you are using your creativity as a musical artist to make this statement in a totally modern and unapologetic video.
Yes. Idc what you think about her as a person but lbr what she did musically is deserving of respect. Leaving HWR because she wants to be her own artist is very respectable. She could have done a selena and produce generic by generic by the books singles and get that steady flow of sales but she didn't. She took a 3 year break to record an album the way she wants it without interference from label executives. And c'mon releasing a song and a video like WCS for a comeback single is pretty damn risky/brave, even we were nervous. She chose to take those risks and she's gaining success because of it. Yall should atleast respect that.
