Okay so here's the deal. I think that we still have no idea what the 2nd single is.
1) It seems that MTV just made it up that Candyman was the 2nd single.
Reasons: It was never mentioned in the Seventeen Mag. article
It was said that Nas was on Still Dirrty and he isn't
2) DJ Premier supposedly said in an interview that BITD would be the 2nd or 3rd single
3) Slow Down Baby was played on the radio twice. 1st time isn't really official because Mark was probably playing it because he produced it. 2nd time, someone overheard on a music stand in NY.
4) The anonymous reviewer(when asked about CandyMan being the 2nd single) said to wait until it was announced by RCA.
5) Hurt has to be released in time for the Grammy's New info from the reviewer:

I most definetely think that the reviewer knows what's going on. & no one really knows because RCA/Sony is so secretive. But maybe what it is is that they are still deciding between Candyman and Hurt?
So it could be Candyman, it could be Slow Down Baby, and it could be Hurt. Info about the reviewer: She is either an RCA intern/ DJ/Someone from SonyBMG/or from a mag/newspaper. So She definetely knows something.
"SonyBMG is doing everything possible to contain the album so it doesn't leak. I have heard from my Aussie contact (who has daily meetings with a SonyBMG rep) that the label are going to extraordinary lengths to contain it. So don't be surprised if it doesn't leak at all.... or at least after the 7th August."
Also info on the report album date pushed back:"In the end, SonyBMG decided on the August 15 date. I'm not gonna go into the details why there were talks of releasing it on the 30th, since most people will think i'm making everything up." So apparently RCA/SONY can change their minds at the last minute which is probably why the reviewer said wait until it's confirmed by them. Then what Christina wants has a lot to do w/ it. & no one specifically knows what she wants the 2nd single to be.
K, I really like the sound of the album, expectations made me want something else, but I loooove these slow funk kind of songs. Her voice and the music is so smooth and awesome.

Yes, it does. I love it. It's just soo smooth and awesome to listen too. Such great attitude and rhythm. Not what I expected from the track once called a culb banger from a reviewer, lol. But it sounds so much better.

Hey guys thanks for updating!! I was a litle busy. Regarding the 2nd single I've thought about it and I think what it is it that Christina wants Candy Man to be the 2nd single. She thinks that it's risky. & if I were to think like RCA, they want Hurt to be released. Slow Down Baby was probably released to radio stations because it's the most commercial song and it would create interest in the album.

Apparently the album has leaked!!!!! let's hope its real =)
Probably isn't. It has been reported from a Sony rep that Sony/BMG is going to extraordinary lengths to contain it. & I heard this info yesterday. It probably won't leak until the 1st international release. There was a ******* up last week but it was later confirmed not to be real.
