oh
but fair to say, Gaga's one of the few, if not the only one who's had multiple MASSIVE hits in the 00's.

Pressed? Over what exactly? Bad Romance being anywhere near the biggest song of the 00s is an outright lie.
It has nothing on Hips Don't Lie, Hung Up, Asereje, TiK ToK, I Gotta Feeling, Yeah!, Oops!...I Did It Again, Lose Yourself, You're Beautiful, Bleeding Love, Apologize and those are just off the top of my head.

Really only I Fotta Feeling, Lose Yourself, Tik Tok and Hips Don't Lie from that list are viable. The others have neither the cultural impact nor accolades to make them truly memorable.

Yesssss.
When that song came out Gaga was giving me so much life, it was like nothing I have ever experienced before since! A major, major song with a SOLID visual. Solid era. It was sooo well put together and well established.

Sis. I'm pretty sure that 99% of us know this thread is just for fun. There is no need to take it so seriously.

mess at OIDIA, Lose Yourself & Yeah! being a bigger song than Bad Romance
like..
Of what's listed, Tik Tok, IGF, HDL, Hung Up, Bleeding Love, Apologize and You're Beautiful are all eligible. Lose Yourself and Yeah! charted well outside of the US but didn't live up to its performance in the main country - more so rather normal than a smash hit everywhere. It was like US(massive) + elsewhere(normal/moderate/bad).

I really don't know what kind of bubble some of you live in. Bad Romance is nowhere close to being the biggest '00s hit.

Lose Yourself IS the most iconic song of the 2000's, so yes it is bigger.
Yeah! is also HUGe and memorable.

That I agree with, but I was talking from a success standpoint. A song can be a classic/iconic without being a major hit, or even a hit at all. And what is memorable or not does not make it more successful, either.

Oops, Yeah and Lose Yourself were #1 practically everywhere in the world They were HUGE. And Oops! only didn't go #1 in the US because Jive did not release a physical single.

People still thinking chart places equate to more success
It went #1. We all know that. For it to even be considered it had to be big(thus, #1 or at most top 3).
#1's aren't always the most successful.
Yeah! and Lose Yourself were big in the states, Canada, and UK, but not as massive. Bad Romance was a well-rounded hit in nearly every country it chartedit.
And I'll use an example to why #1's aren't always the most successful:
http://longboredsurfer.com/charts/1998.php
10. I Don't Want To Wait » Paula Cole
^ Peaked at #11 on Billboard Hot 100 - not even hitting top 10, and the 10th most-successful song in the US, beating My Heart Will Go On, My All, The First Night, and so on - all #1's.

And what argument are you using to say that Yeah! and Lose Yourself reached #1 almost everywhere yet weren't really big hits? They are absolutely massive, globally known songs, I was not living in any of those countries you mention and Yeah!, lose yourself and Oops! as well were HUGE, much much much bigger than Bad Romance, and their chart performances around the world reflect that.
