I promise this is the only Canadiana on this list. This video is just so hot in every way. I love how each scene is set in a different hue. The scenery in it just blows me away. I am still waiting for Mia Martina to break out in the US.
Rihanna – Where Have You Been
No shocker here, I mean, Where Have You Been was one of the hyped and anticipated videos on ATRL this year. I will admit the actual video was much less epic than the previews promised. However, everything about it is still beautiful and the backdrops are so breathtaking.
Calvin Harris – Sweet Nothing f/ Florence Welch
I love the story this video tells. I don't really have much else to say, except that the emotion Florence provides is so beautiful.

One of my newly discovered artists of the year, Marina is just so amazing, I love her so much and this music video is just ****ing fire! The whole concept of the video just gets me every single time, and Marina arguably has the best body in the industry! I love EVERYTHING!
Katy Perry – Wide Awake
And the #1 video of 2012 is obviously Wide Awake! This probably comes as no surprise, but even without factoring in my stanship, this is STILL the best video. I love the story! I love hidden imagery within the video! I love the message it provides. It is the best video of the year and will probably be one of my favourite videos of all time.
