5. Loved You First - One Direction Album: Take Me Home
I don't know what it is about this song that I love so much. Zayn's vocals or the 80's-pop-esque chorus or Zayn's high notes? (You can tell I just adore Zayn's voice ) But the boys sound so good. Louis's voice doesn't sound cringe worthy and Niall's voice is PERECTION on the bridge. This is probably one of their strongest tracks on TMH. I understand why it wasn't on the standard, since they have the right amount of ballads, midtempos and up beat songs. And plus, I'm happy its on the Yearbook edition. Since stans usually buy that first.
What surprise me about this song the most is the second verse. "What if he's into fashion. Or if he likes ballet, doesn't get the time of day." Kween Bridgit supporting the gays. Although, it's your typical Disney Anthem. I was surprised and taken back by it. I never expected a clean and cut Disney label to even allow. But it is pretty nice. Go Bridgit!
3. Truly, Madly, Deeply - One Direction Album: Take Me Home
I could relate to the bridge "I hope I’m not a casualty, Hope you won’t get up and leave." It's one of their best ballads.
2. Va Va Voom - Nicki Minaj Album: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded / The Re-Up
Now, this is a perfect example of how to make a Hip-Pop song, Nicki! I still don't understand she never realize this first. It's miles better than "Starships" and "Pound The Alarm" and ALSO, this song will never repeat the magic of "Superbass". GODBass remains unbothered
1. Irresistible - One Direction Album: Take Me Home
And getting the #1 is "Irresistible." One of the main reasons why it's number one is because I'm a big sucker for acoustic-pop ballads. Especially this one. It's one of their best songs on the album. It doesn't sound too sappy or cliche like a few of their ballads. and I'm a little sad its not on the standard edition (But Change My Mind is? ) And the fact they co-wrote it makes much more awesome.
