The iPhone 5 is like what Android was two years ago. It's so lagging behind both in hardware and software departments. You can't really trust user ratings as with all these scuffgate fiasco, purple flare, battery, wifi problems, inaccurate maps, Apple fanboys would still rate the iPhone 5 a perfect 10.
HTC is garbage. Samsung worked their way to the top through mass marketing and of course putting out quality products on all available carriers and making sure they have public recognition. HTC made like a new phone every month, didn't update any of them, became a slave to American carriers and now are getting paid DUST.
Apple has 3. Samsung has 12. And you get a new iPhone once a year.

October to September isn't a full year. And iPhone 5S is coming about 6 months after the 5.
Yes. The only thing that bugs about the S3 is the damn screen
Samsung>Apple>Nokia>>>Sony>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>HT C
The last one has good phones but those prices

Lol @ all that mess you listed that gets reported on for tons of other devices. Blogs write so much about the iPhone because people flock to go read it. The posts about the Surface's Touch Cover tearing or the android phones that had antenna issues at launch. It doesn't get views so people don't talk about it. The Nexus 4 was reported to have ****** ass battery too but that was never expounded upon either.
Do you actually plan on using this after a few months?
Actually yes, because I'm always in need of cool new places to go to.
The Nokia Drive is amazing as well! The maps are downloaded to your phone so you don't use your data usage
the Galaxy S3 is 200$ and so is the iPhone 5. HOWEVER you can get an iPhone 4s for 100$ or a 4 for like 10 cents.

But if I was to get the iPhone, I'd get the 4S for 10 cents since there's really nothing new to the table with the iPhone 5.. especially now that 5S is coming out in a few months.
