Really? You think people blamed Bush for the actual storm? The US President is a powerful figure but they can't control the weather.
People blamed Bush for the poor FEMA response, not the storm itself.
As the REPUBLICAN Governor of New Jersey pointed out, the Obama administration has been fantastic in coordinating relief efforts thus far.
I was worried, there's no room for mistake. Hurricane Sandy was the October surprise. It reminds people that they need a steady and consistent leader in times like these. I hope the public gives him credit. Watch Romney rush to try and be on the scene before the President though...
