Even still, songwriting isn't the only other talent besides singing to consider -- there's performing, dancing, producing, playing instruments, vocal production/arranging, acting, etc.

And I agree, all the girls listed here are very talented.
I'm probably in Clarkson-stan-mode. Saw her in concert last night and I feel that she proved that you don't need choreography or a giant 'impressive' stage or to put on an excellent show.
Her performance skills are definitely underrated.
